School Direct (salaried and unsalaried) Teacher Training Programme
The Herts and Bucks Teaching School Alliance are inviting applications for the School Direct teacher training programme starting in September 2017. Applications open through UCAS on October 18th, (placements are listed under Parmiter's School).
Salaried and unsalaried placements will be available at Parmiter's School as well as other secondary and primary schools, including a special school, in the alliance.
Places are offered in a range of subjects including -
Art & Design, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Classics, Computer Science, Design & Technology, Economics, English, Geography, History, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology and Religious Studies. Primary General is available in both mainstream and special school setting.
We encourage prospective trainees to submit an early application/expression of interest as national recruitment quotas apply to some subjects, and, also to allow enough time to organise lesson observations prior to application.
Applications will close in June 2017 (however recruitment for some subjects may finish before then).
