Teacher Training

 

The Watford Partnership for Teacher Training, click here for details, are inviting applications for school-based teacher training in secondary and primary schools -

  • PGCE Secondary (Unsalaried) 
  • PGCE Primary (Unsalaried)
  • Employment-based Secondary (Salaried)
  • Employment-based Primary (Salaried) 

Applications are made through Find postgraduate teacher training (placements for all schools are listed under Parmiter's School). 

Places are offered in a range of subjects including -

Art & Design, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, Design and Technology, Drama, English, Economics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Physical Education, Physics and Religious Studies.

Primary General placements are available in primary schools and special schools.

We encourage prospective trainees to submit an early application/expression of interest, as national recruitment quotas apply to some subjects and to allow enough time to organise lesson observations prior to application.  Applications will close on June 2nd 2024 and final interview will be scheduled no later than July 2nd 2024. However, recruitment for some subjects may close before then.
