Our Year 10 students took part in a History trip to Berlin from Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 April 2025.  The aim of this trip was to enabled students to set their studies in context.  Their schedule included:

• a three-hour walking tour of the centre of Berlin, which included key sites such as the Reichstag building, Brandenburg Gate and a range of memorials to Nazi victims and significant Cold War sites.
•  the Sachsenhausen memorial museum (former concentration camp). 
• the Berlin Wall memorial open-air museum at Bernaeur Strasse. 
• the Olympic Stadium, built to host the 1936 Olympic games.
• the Checkpoint Charlie, Topography of Terror and the DDR Museums.
