A Level Geography Trip to Iceland 2025
Our A Level Geography students took part in a residential trip to Iceland during the October 2025 half-term. This was an enjoyable experience for our students, which will greatly benefit their knowledge and understanding of several of the core themes on the examination syllabus. It is a real highlight of the A Level Geography course for many students.
They visited a range of geographically significant places, including Þingvellir National Park, Dyrhólaey Coast, the Eyjafjallajökull lava museum and the geothermal power plant. Students also had a chance to visit a newly erupting volcano and walk on a glacier with ice picks and crampons.
