Music Events 2019-20

Our musicians and choirs are involved in a number of events throughout the academic year ~

Saturday 9th November 2019:  Concert with St Albans City Brass Band – venue tbc

Parmiter’s Brass Ensemble joins with St Albans City Brass for a shared concert of music

Wednesday 4th December 2019:  Primary Schools Carol Concert - Watford Colosseum

Parmiter's Concert Band accompanies carols and perform at the annual Primary Schools Carol Concert

Thursday 12th December 2019:  Breakspeare Christmas Concert - Breakspeare School

A concert of seasonal Music with Breakspeare’s musicians and Parmiter’s Big Band and a volunteer choir

Tuesday 17th December 2019:  Parmiter’s School Carol Service

Sung by Parmiter’s Choir, Chamber Choir and Junior Choir

Wednesday 5th February 2020:  Winter Picnic Concert

Music from some of Parmiter’s many smaller ensembles performed in a relaxed and informal “bring your own picnic” setting

Thursday 11th March 2020:  Spring Concert

Parmiter’s Orchestra, Concert Band, Big Band, Friday Band and more

Wednesday 6th May 2020:  Summer Concert

A celebration of our leavers’ contributions to School Music with Parmiter’s Choir and Chamber Choir, Orchestra, Concert Band, Big Band and more

Wednesday 10th June 2020:  Creative Arts Evening

Music led by Parmiter’s Year 10 students, with support from other musicians from other year groups, present solo and ensemble performances in an informal setting
