Teacher of Drama

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher of Drama & Theatre to join our successful and thriving department.  Our Drama facilities are outstanding, with two dedicated drama studios, including a purpose build drama centre with state of the art lighting and sound equipment.  Drama is taught as a discrete subject at Key Stage 3 and is popular at GCSE and A Level, with 7 GCSE groups and 2 strong A Level groups.  The department runs a highly successful school production each year as well as a range of extra-curricular opportunities for students.

Parmiter’s is an exceptional school in which to teach, with highly positive and supportive relationships between the staff and students.  Parmiter’s is a lead school in the Herts and Bucks Teaching School Alliance and offers a robust induction programme complimented by a bespoke CPD programme supporting colleagues at all stages of their careers. We are able to support the completion of an MA for candidates with the appropriate credits.  Our admissions policy prioritises children of staff.

Applications are equally welcome from experienced and newly qualified teachers. NQTs are offered the option of a 1st July start date and we have an active NQT programme to support and develop new teachers.

Candidates are welcome to visit the school informally prior to application.
