Teacher of French
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of French to join our successful faculty. You will have a passion for your subject and, ideally, be able to teach a second language, preferably German, up to KS4.
Modern Foreign Languages are a key component of our curriculum and you will have the skills to engage students across the age and ability range. The successful candidate will be welcomed into a vibrant faculty of experienced teachers. At Key Stage 3 students learn two languages, with all students continuing with at least one language to GCSE. We will have 5 A Level language classes next academic year. The Faculty is well resourced and includes includes 3 language assistants accommodated in a purpose-built Languages Centre.
Although this is a maternity role, it may be possible to offer the position for the full academic year. This will be discussed at the interview.

School Direct (salaried & unsalaried Teacher Training Programme
The Herts and Bucks Teaching School Alliance are inviting applications for the School Direct teacher training programme starting in September 2021. Please apply through UCAS, (placements are listed under Parmiter's School). Further information available here
Salaried and unsalaried placements will be available at Parmiter's School as well as other secondary and primary schools in the alliance.
Places are offered in a range of subjects including -
Art & Design, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, Design and Technology, Drama,English, Economics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Physical Education, Physics and Religious Studies.
Primary General placements (salaried and unsalaried) are available in primary schools and special schools.

We encourage prospective trainees to submit an early application/expression of interest as national recruitment quotas apply to some subjects, and, to allow enough time to organise lesson observations prior to application.
